CUCUMBER VODKA INFUSION

This refreshing infusion is considered to be a year round cooler with a fresh twist.

THE SECRET
750 ml bottle of quality vodka

Place the cucumber in a large glass container

Add the vodka, and cap tightly.

Let stand at room temperature for 3 weeks

Shake bottle gently every couple of days.

Taste occasionally until the preferred flavor and intensity is achieved.

Allow the cucumber and vodka mix to infuse for up to another week if needed.

FINALIZING THE INFUSION PROCESS

Strain the infused vodka into the original bottle

Cap tightly

Label and date it

Refrigerate until ready to serve

SERVING YOUR GUESTS

You may serve this fresh cucumber vodka infusion chilled with on the rocks with a lemon twist!

Sprite or seven up would also be a good fit with a bit of chile serrano if you wanted to spice it up!

CAUTION

(Do not allow it to infuse any longer than 2 weeks, or a bitter flavor will result.)
